Spring cleanups usually begin in late March. Hardscape construction runs from about April through November, depending on frost. Design consultations happen year-round, and winter is the best time to plan a spring project.
A patio built on a properly compacted base will last decades. Individual pavers can be lifted and reset if a tree root or utility repair ever disturbs an area.
Hardscape installations carry a workmanship warranty and new plantings installed with our maintenance plans carry a one-year plant guarantee. Details are written into every proposal.
Have a rough idea of what you would like and a budget range, and gather photos or Pinterest ideas if you have them. If you have a plat of survey, it helps with layout and property lines.
Most 300 to 500 square foot patios are finished in three to five working days once we start, weather permitting. Projects with walls or fire pits add a day or two.
Usually because there is no drainage behind it, so wet soil freezes and pushes the wall out. Leaning walls generally have to be rebuilt with a proper base and drain stone.
In our area, between early October and early November, before overnight temperatures stay below freezing. Water left in the lines can split pipes and heads.
Spring (late April to early June) and early fall (late August to early October) are best. Cooler soil and regular rain help roots establish before summer heat or winter freeze.
