A Design-Build Contractor in Sandwich, Illinois
Most of our work is what it sounds like: designing and building landscapes for homeowners in Sandwich, Plano, Yorkville and the towns around them. Hardscapes, outdoor kitchens, irrigation, lighting, synthetic turf and seasonal maintenance all come from the same company.
We are a design-build contractor. That means the plan, the construction and the follow-up care all come from the same company. When something needs to be adjusted mid-project, there is no argument between a designer and an installer about whose drawing was wrong.
We do not sell a job and hand it to whoever is available that week. It is slower to work that way, and it is the reason the finished work holds up.
Almost everything we build is within about 30 miles of Sandwich. That is deliberate. We know how the clay here drains, what happens to a badly built wall after three freeze-thaw cycles, and which plant material actually survives a zone 5 winter in an exposed Fox Valley yard.

Do the base work right
Most hardscape failures are base failures. Excavation depth, aggregate, compaction and drainage are not where we save money.
Plan for the winter
Every detail we build has to survive freeze-thaw. Drainage behind walls, edge restraint on pavers, frost-depth footings where they are needed.
